Overview
Frag 17-23 (Ac-LKKTETQ) is the conserved actin-binding motif spanning residues 17-23 of thymosin beta-4; in published in-vitro work this seven-residue core sequesters G-actin and is characterized as the region responsible for much of the parent protein's actin-regulation and cell-migration activity. As a short synthetic fragment it is studied as a lower-molecular-weight analog of full-length thymosin beta-4 in cytoskeletal-dynamics and tissue-remodeling assay systems.

FAQ
Frag 17-23 is the short seven-residue active core (Ac-LKKTETQ, residues 17-23), whereas full-length thymosin beta-4 is a 43-residue protein. We supply both as separate research-use SKUs so labs can select the fragment or the full sequence, and specifications for each are stated on its own COA.
Each lot ships with a Certificate of Analysis including HPLC purity, mass-spec (ESI-MS or MALDI-TOF) identity confirmation, and appearance and water-content data. Additional documentation such as residual-solvent or endotoxin (only if specifically ordered and tested) testing is available on request.
Frag 17-23 is supplied as a lyophilized white powder, typically at least 99% by HPLC target, in 10mg vials. Purity threshold, counter-ion, and fill can be specified for OEM and private-label orders.
Catalog MOQ is 50 kits (500 vials) at 10mg. We manufacture for OEM and private-label programs, including custom vial fills, labeling, and bulk lyophilized peptide-powder supply under separate quotation.
Yes. Frag 17-23 is sold strictly for laboratory and in-vitro research use and is not a food, drug, cosmetic, or medical product. Buyers are responsible for compliance with all applicable import, handling, and end-use regulations in their jurisdiction.
