FOXO4-DRI is a cell-penetrating D-retro-inverso peptide built from a FOXO4 p53-binding fragment fused to a TAT-derived import sequence, placing it in the senolytic / cellular-aging research class. In published cell and animal studies it competes with endogenous FOXO4 for p53, releasing p53 to induce apoptosis preferentially in senescent cells.
